I’m 30 years old and I grew up in a small town outside of Ottawa. I’ve always been an active and outdoorsy person with a very special appreciation for nature, which lead me to starting my outdoors YouTube channel in 2017.

MY EXPERIENCE

I’ve now organically built 2 successful monetized YouTube channels with a combined base of 230, 000 subscribers.

Managing these 2 channels, each having their own unique filming and editing style, my passion for filmmaking grew into something worth expanding into other facets - developing professional videos for businesses, brands, real estate and home design.

As a YouTube creator, I’ve worked with many sponsors, brands & product collaborations, and partnerships with large corporations such as Destination Ontario. My experience and skillset in visual storytelling grew steadily over the many years of working with these various corporations, creating content, and developing compelling audio and visual experiences through my videos.

MY PURPOSE

I’m an entrepreneur myself, and my husband is also a successful business owner and has been for over a decade. I know the behind-the-scenes work that is involved with running a business which gives me a leg-up for knowing what businesses need in terms of content development to showcase their work, and this is why I started my film business; Careena Alexis Films.
